Open, agentic video tools are taking off fast (the category's top open-source project has been pulling hundreds of GitHub stars a day). That's the right direction — and Project Bright approaches it from the original-brief end rather than the remix-an-existing-video end.
Not a knock on the others — different starting point, same open, agentic spirit. We think planning-first plus an editable handoff is the better package.
The package
Susan runs structured gates so the plan is coherent before a single frame renders.
Components are generated for your brand each run — colours, type and motion baked in, not bolted on.
Rendered with Remotion, so every element is reproducible, versionable and precise.
The result opens in Video Bright — change a line, swap a shot, re-time it. It's yours.
The whole pipeline runs under Docker Compose on your own VPS. No lock-in.
