Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 July 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the solvX website at solvx.uk and its subdomains (including splitfire.solvx.uk, bangbop.solvx.uk and others), and the games, tools, videos and other services we make available (together, the "Services"). solvX is an independent project operated from the United Kingdom. By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
You can contact us at any time at captain@solvx.uk.
2. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Services. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission. By using the Services you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. What we offer
solvX builds things in public. The Services may include:
- Browser games (for example SPLITFIRE and Bangbop) that you can play directly in a web browser, usually without creating an account.
- AI-assisted content, including videos, written posts and other media that we produce and publish.
- Tools and experiments, some of which are early, unfinished, or change frequently.
Much of what we publish is a work in progress. Features may be added, changed, paused or removed at any time without notice.
4. Accounts
Most of our games need no account. Where an account or sign-in is offered, you are responsible for the activity that happens under it and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at captain@solvx.uk if you believe your account has been misused.
5. Acceptable use
When using the Services you agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- disrupt, overload, attack, reverse-engineer or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services or their infrastructure;
- use automated means to abuse the Services, cheat in the games in ways that spoil them for others, or interfere with other players;
- upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, or that you do not have the right to share;
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.
We may suspend or restrict access if these Terms are breached or to protect the Services and their users.
6. Live games, recordings and streams
Some games run public, always-on servers and may be broadcast live (for example to YouTube). If you join a public game, be aware that gameplay — including in-game names, positions and inputs — may be recorded and may appear on a public stream or be used to improve the games (such as training in-game bots). Do not use a name or content you would not want shown publicly. Where we record gameplay data, we handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Content you create
Some Services let you create or customise content (for example building your own content in Bangbop). You keep ownership of what you create, but you grant solvX a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and use that content as needed to operate and improve the Services and, where relevant, to show it on streams or in promotional material. You are responsible for the content you create and must have the rights to it.
8. Third-party platforms and integrations
The Services connect to and interoperate with third-party platforms — including TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Bluesky and Instagram — for publishing and displaying content. solvX operates a studio that publishes solvX's own content to these platforms using the platforms' official APIs and the account holder's authorisation. When you interact with those platforms you are also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, and their availability and behaviour are outside our control.
9. Intellectual property
Except for content you create and third-party materials, the Services and their content — including code, game designs, graphics, videos and the solvX name and branding — are owned by or licensed to solvX and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may play the games and view the content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or create derivative products from the Services without our permission, except where the law allows.
10. "As is" — no warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We build in public: the Services may contain bugs, may be interrupted, and may not always work as intended. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, solvX will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. By using the Services you agree to that policy.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or end your access to the Services at any time, including for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws give you other rights.
