Video production for businesses and products

solvX produces promotional videos, social video and explainers, plus motion graphics and automated video pipelines. We combine conventional editing and 3D with AI-assisted, code-driven workflows to reduce production time and cost — AI is the production advantage, not the point.

How projects work

Brief → prototype → review → production → delivery

1

Brief

What it's for, who it's for, what you already have.

2

Prototype

A rough cut or a style frame so we agree the direction early.

3

Review

You see it and steer it before the expensive part.

4

Production

Editing, motion graphics and 3D, AI-assisted where it helps.

5

Delivery

Final files in the sizes you need — and the pipeline, if it's a series.

A promotional or explainer video with bespoke motion graphics or 3D, and a couple of review rounds.

Substantial

£100+

An automated pipeline that produces videos repeatedly — a daily/weekly series or many variations — set up once, then run.

A promotional video — for our own product, Socials Studio

The video below is a promotional video we produced for our own product, Socials Studio. In about 90 seconds it shows what the app does — motion graphics, screen content and a tight edit — the same kind of promo we make for a product or launch.

Common questions

What people ask before commissioning video

How much does video production cost?
As a rough guide: a small job — a single short or social clip — starts around £20; a medium project — a promotional or explainer video with bespoke motion graphics — around £50; and a substantial one — an automated pipeline that produces videos repeatedly — from £100. The final figure depends on length and complexity, so tell us what you want to make and we'll confirm.
How long does a production take?
A small job — a short social clip — can often be turned around within a day once we have the material. A full promotional or explainer video is usually a couple of weeks depending on revisions. An automated pipeline takes longer to set up, but then produces videos on demand. Whatever the size, we work to keep the turnaround as short as possible.
What do I need to provide?
A clear brief (what it's for and who it's for), your brand assets (logo, colours, fonts), and any footage, images or script you already have. No script or storyboard? We can help build one.
When does AI-assisted production make sense?
When you need speed, scale or repeatability — a series of social videos, a daily or weekly format, or many variations of one piece. AI-assisted, code-driven workflows cut the manual effort per video. For a single hero brand film, conventional craft still leads and AI just supports it.
AI-assisted vs traditional video production — what's the difference?
Traditional production is hand-crafted per video and scales linearly with effort. Our AI-assisted, code-driven approach builds the video from reusable components, so once a format exists you can produce more, faster and cheaper. We use whichever fits the job — often both on the same project. Read the full guide to choosing between them →
